Manager Indie Darar decided to rotate the squad around to give players who have been patiently waiting for there opportunity and have been working hard at training. In came in Bahador Chizari, Louie McPherson and captain Charlie Root who makes his way back from injury.

An early goal from McPherson set the pattern for the rest of the game. Goals from vice captain Jamie Simper and Callum Russell followed. Sub Aidan course who came on for Brandon Haynes just after the half hour mark still had time to add a fourth before halftime after excellent combination play between overlapping full back Jack Loveday.

Soham made 3 further subs at the beginning of the second half with Jamie Simper, Sam Crack and Bahador Chizari making way for Alexander Ashdjian, Michael Briggs and Roly Dickinson and it was Dickinson who made a immediate impact winning a penalty within minutes of the restart. Russell cooly slotted the penalty to get his second of the game. The sixth and seventh goals came from Dom Hunt and Jack Loveday. There was still time for an 8th goal and Russell to complete his hattrick with five minutes remaining.
