Marcus Cole is someone many of us know, not just as a talented footballer for Soham Town Rangers, but as a genuinely hardworking, down-to-earth 22-year-old who gives his all both on and off the pitch.
By day, Marcus is a dedicated plumber, building his future through honest, physical work. By night and weekends, he represents Soham Town Rangers with passion, commitment, and pride.
Last night, Marcus suffered a serious injury that has turned his world upside down.
This injury doesn’t just keep him off the football pitch, it means he is currently unable to carry out his job as a plumber. As anyone in a hands-on trade knows, if you can’t work, you can’t earn. And at just 22, this has placed Marcus under sudden and significant financial pressure.
Bills don’t stop. Rent doesn’t pause. Everyday living costs continue.
Marcus has always been the one putting in the effort, never asking for help, but now he needs his community around him.
We’re raising funds to support Marcus during his recovery, helping to cover:
• Lost income while he is unable to work
• Essential living costs
• Rehabilitation and recovery support
You can donate by pressing here.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference and help take some of the stress off Marcus so he can focus on what matters most, recovering properly and getting back to doing what he loves.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page. Your support means everything.
Let’s come together for Marcus, just like he’s always shown up for his team and community.
Come on you Greens!
Thank you.
