Football clubs across Soham have announced an exciting new partnership.

Football clubs across Soham have announced an exciting new partnership that will strengthen opportunities for players and create a clearer pathway from youth to senior football in the town.

Soham Town Rangers FC, Soham Town Rangers Youth and Soham United FC have confirmed that a formal link between the clubs is now in place ahead of the 2026/27 football season.

The collaboration represents a major step forward for football in Soham, bringing together clubs that collectively support hundreds of players across youth and adult football.

The partnership will strengthen relationships between youth and senior teams, providing clearer development opportunities for young players while maintaining strong grassroots provision within the town.

As part of this progress, all three clubs have also been awarded FA 2-Star Accredited Club status, recognising the club’s commitment to high standards in coaching, safeguarding, club management and player development.

Club representatives say the partnership reflects a shared ambition to create a more connected football structure in Soham that benefits players, volunteers and the wider community.

The clubs will work closely together with the long-term objective of formally merging Soham youth football into Soham Town Rangers FC, Soham United Adults football club will remain as a linked partnership.

The planned merger will help create a unified club structure capable of supporting players at every stage of their football journey – from their first experience of grassroots football through to senior football.

Representatives from the clubs said the collaboration is about building a sustainable future for football in Soham while preserving the strong community values that have been central to each club’s success.

Further updates will be shared with players, parents, volunteers and supporters as the partnership develops over the coming seasons.
