Mildenhall chairman Martin Tuck commented: Both Dave and Tony have lived in the Mildenhall area for a number of years and have great experience of management at Ridgeons League level. Their obvious passion for our football club, combined with their drive to succeed, made them the ideal candidates to take up the management role and to take our club forward in the future. The pair, who will be in charge for the Ridgeons League Premier Division game against Lowestoft on Saturday, have a wealth of footballing experience, including a successful spell in charge of Ely City in the 1990s. The duo, who joined the Unwin Ground club in 1994 after a stint at Newmarket, guided Ely to the Division One title in 1997 and then to second place in the Premier Division the following year, before deciding to take a break from the game in 1998. Both Pinkowski and Lyes have retained an involvement in football in the years since, with Lyes agreeing to become Hall's new joint manager after a spell at Kershaw Premier League outfit Tuddenham Rovers.
