We are delighted to partner with Just George at Soham Town Rangers, a local charity from Isleham that raises much-needed funds and awareness for Children's Cancer and Leukemia Group for research into rhabdomyosarcoma (a soft tissue tumour) in memory of George.

George passed away, aged 4, on October 2023. The local community has rallied behind David and Lisa to raise funds in memory of George; to date, they have raised over £100k for a fantastic cause.

The partnership sees the charity as sleeve sponsor for the season across all of the clubs' youth and senior sides. Boards have been erected around Julius Martin Lane with QR codes to donate to the charity, as we look to embed the club further into the heart of the local community the club serves, having Just George part of our club for the course of 2024/25 is something we are very proud of.

Jason Fretwell added, 'The club is in awe of the work David and Lisa have done in such a short time. To raise over £100k in nine months is simply remarkable, and we felt the charity aligns perfectly with everything we are trying to do here at the club. We look forward to working further with everyone at Just George and supporting them in their fundraising activities.'

Lisa Radcliffe commented, "We are so grateful that Soham Town Rangers have chosen to support Just George. Raising awareness into childhood cancer and the desperate need for research is important to us. George loved football too so it feels like a perfect partnership. The community of Soham holds a close place in my heart, having worked in all of the primary schools for 18 years. I have supported many of the football clubs' families and am grateful they now support mine."
